  • Overview

     

    The 3rd Shift Environmental Operator position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Anoplate environmental systems in order to achieve full compliance with local, county and federal agencies.  Responsibilities include properly treating solutions once their usefulness has expired, discarding and making up new processing baths and rinses, and making chemical additions in a way that minimizes the impact to the environment, and keeps production processes running at optimum performance.  The Environmental Operator performs hazardous waste handling, emergency spill response, and labeling and record keeping as required by OSHA & ISO standards.  This position includes training across multiple departments and will also perform basic mechanical repairs to facility equipment including simple troubleshooting of improperly functioning process equipment or building/equipment surface preparation and painting. Expected schedule is Sunday-Friday 10pm-630am (First workday of the week is Sunday Evening 10pm, work week ends on  Friday morning 6am (flexibility in start stop times is considered. Overtime is availabe as needed). $15.00+ per hour to start (depending on experience) plus an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential.

     

    The maintenance of these baths is critical to the production of quality parts for our customer. The person who fills this position will work with a variety of processes including tank analysis, bath pump over, bath make up, solution transportation, and more.

    Qualifications

    A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.  Experience working in with hazardous material and fork truck certification is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.  Candidates must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
