    Continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for the Human Resources Generalist ready to step up to the next level. The Human Resources Manager is a trusted adviser to operations and support teams. The HR Manager will assist in all areas of Human Resources while owning specific strategies, programs, processes and policies to ensure alignment with company goals, strategy, mission and vision. Primary focus is on Talent Acquisition initiatives while engaging in employee relations, training & development, performance management, recognition & rewards and other generalist duties. This is a hands on role that requires involvement at a detailed level on a daily basis with the tactical activities and actions required to execute HR initiatives.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Talent Acquisition: Full cycle recruitment process for a variety of positions including production, management, technical and professional.
    • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategy to include partnering with management to determine staffing levels, updating job descriptions, promoting opportunities and sourcing candidates internally and externally. Maintains relationships with community outreach groups, veterans organizations and local Colleges. Attends job fairs.
    • Manage recruiting agency relationships while performing innovative recruitment strategies. Create and develop print and on-line advertising, limited website content development, internal communications, and other marketing material.
    • Manages all aspects of employee relations, conducts confidential investigations, coaches managers, consults on progressive discipline and works with VP of HR to conclude issues.
    • Advises management on policy updates, implementation and interpretation.
    • Administers the performance management process and works closely with management on development plans and succession planning. Works closely with Training Manager to insure talent at all levels receives training and development to drive their success.

    Supervisory Responsibilities


    The HR Manager will supervise the HR Specialist and Administrative Assistant and will assign/direct work to support goals and initiatives. Must be able to foster a highly collaborative environment across all functions within the HR department. 



    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or applicable field. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred. Must have 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience with at least 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in recruiting/hiring of hourly, management, technical, and professional employees. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired. Must possess a skilled knowledge of Microsoft Office products, applicant tracking software, and payroll systems.
